Essdee Hand Printing Roller – Professional Brayer for Printmaking
The Essdee hand printing rollers are high-quality brayers designed for lino printing, block printing and a wide range of printmaking techniques. Their durable construction and smooth ink distribution make them ideal for artists, printmakers, studios and professional workshops.
The roller is made from high-quality EPDM rubber with a hardness of 70 Shore, ensuring consistent ink pickup and even transfer onto printing plates. A lightweight aluminum core provides stability while keeping the roller balanced during use. Combined with self-lubricating nylon bearings and a full steel axle, the roller runs smoothly and allows precise ink application.
The impact-resistant polypropylene handle is ergonomically designed for comfortable use and includes a convenient hanging hole for storage. When the roller is placed upside down, the handle also functions as a support stand, preventing the roller from touching the work surface and keeping it clean during printing.
Essdee brayers are compatible with both water-based and oil-based inks, making them suitable for lino printing, relief printing and block printing. Their durable design also makes them useful for industrial applications, such as applying window films or vehicle graphics.
For larger printing areas, the 25 cm and 30 cm rollers feature a dual-handle design. The two handles allow more even pressure across wide surfaces, improving control and consistency when printing large formats.
