General terms and conditions of business
Unless otherwise agreed in writing for the individual case, the following terms and conditions of business and delivery apply to all orders placed with our company:

With the publication of the new price list from March 1st, 2024, all previous terms and conditions become invalid.
When placing an order, the buyer accepts the following delivery and payment conditions; all previous terms and conditions lose their validity.
Different purchasing conditions of our customers cannot be taken into account.
Errors, printing errors and changes in the design of the articles as well as adjustments to the range are reserved.

Prices: Dealer purchase prices in €. – Prices subject to change. Subject to rounding differences.

Pricing

Offers and price lists from our company are always subject to change and subject to prior sale and delivery.
The basis for calculation is the price list valid at the time of invoicing. Regardless of this, we reserve the right to make an appropriate adjustment to the agreed prices in the event that the currency conditions change significantly.
The prices mentioned are net prices; the statutory VAT at the time of service will be added.

AMI guarantee (compressors, airbrush guns)

Within the warranty period, AMI will eliminate all defects in the devices free of charge if they are due to material or manufacturing defects.
WEARING PARTS are generally excluded from the warranty. AMI reserves the right to decide whether defective parts are repaired or replaced. Any further claims for damages are excluded unless our liability is mandatory.
Complaints or repairs must be sent “free of charge”.
AMI will cover the return transport costs in the event of a warranty claim.
The guarantee period begins on the day of sale to the end user, which must be proven by the buyer with an invoice or receipt or a completed guarantee certificate.
If no corresponding proof can be provided, AMI reserves the right to charge for the repair.

The guarantee expires if:

Intervention by the buyer or non-expert third parties.
Improper handling or operation.
Use of replacement parts or accessories that do not correspond to the original.
Disregarding the operating instructions for the respective device.
Claiming the guarantee does not extend the guarantee period.
If possible, the complained device should be sent in the original packaging.

COMPRESSORS ARE ALWAYS SUBMITTED WITHOUT OIL.

Repairs can only be carried out satisfactorily if a detailed description of the fault is included.

Delivery obligations

We have no obligation to deliver.
Delivery delays are not a reason for claims for damages.

Complaints

Complaints must be made to us in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
If defects are recognized, replacement will be made in the amount of the value of the delivered goods. Further claims for compensation are excluded.

repair

For repairs to electrical devices and spray guns outside of the warranty, we charge an hourly wage of €45 plus VAT.
Cost estimates are calculated as a flat rate as follows:
all electrical devices with € 20,-*
Spray guns with € 7.50*
*plus the statutory VAT

When a repair order is placed, the cost estimate will be charged. The repair invoices are payable immediately without deductions. Labor costs are not eligible for discounts.

payment

From the invoice date 8 days less 2% discount or direct debit 8 days 3% discount, 30 days net.
If the payment deadline is exceeded, we charge €7.50 per reminder level plus 6% interest per month or part thereof.
We are not obliged to accept bills of exchange.

Return of goods

Return deliveries always require our consent. We do not bear any shipping risk for returned goods.
The goods must be delivered to us free of charge and will be credited with a discount of 20% if they reach us in perfect condition and packaging units (PU) have not been opened.

Retention of title

The delivered goods remain our property until our entire claim has been met, with the exception of resale in the normal course of business.

Place of jurisdiction

The agreed place of performance and jurisdiction is 24114 Kiel.

data protection

We are entitled to process and store the data received about the buyer in connection with the business relationship in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act.
