Derivan Matisse Spreader Medium is a transparent paste that is added to acrylic paints to increase the volume without losing control over the viscosity. Due to their buttery consistency, impasto or oil painting techniques can then be used. The medium can be combined in all mixing ratios with MATISSE acrylic paints. It dilutedly improves the flow properties, the stroking ability and extends the processing time of acrylic paints and hardly dries up. Derivan Matisse Spreader Medium is therefore ideal for glazing. Applied to already dried color, there is a wet-in-wet effect with gently running transitions between the individual layers of paint. Made in Australia!
