As a last layer over a painting, Derivan Matisse Final Varnish MM14 gloss quickly and reinforces the depth and intensity of acrylic paints. Two paints are recommended to achieve an even shine. Let the first layer of paint dry completely before applying the next layer. The drying time is approx. 6-8 hours, depending on the external conditions. By adding 80 % mineral turpentine, this paint can also be used as a retouching lacquer via oil paints. Retuschier fir is a temporary varnish. Dedible, solvable in mineral turpentine and does not attack Derivan Matisse acrylic paints. A painting can be thoroughly cleaned and repainted without the color being attacked and thus ideal for use in restoration work.
