Wollastonit creates an uneven texture as a ground quartz, which creates a reason for harder pastel chalks. Due to its alkaline properties, Wollastonit is ideal for acrylic paints. In connection with mm7 gloss lacquer and gloss medium, mm10 gesso, mm27 gesso with low viscosity or mm28 polymer satin lacquer (on water-based) you can create textures on canvas paintings.
