Bimsstein is very light and consists of rough volcanic glass. Applied evenly, it results in a evenly rough, flat surface. Due to its low weight, unusual textures can be created on paintings with pumice stone. Bimsstein is also suitable for mixed techniques and collages. You can mix the medium up to 50% with MM2 Impasto medium, mm4 gel medium, mm6 polymer matt varnish (on water -based), mm7 gloss varnish and gloss medium, mm28 polymer satin varnish (on water -based) or mm30 matt gel medium.
