Use the iron -containing powder on paintings and mixed techniques. For a waterproof, dark gray, magnetic coating, mix up to the same parts of iron powder with mm14 gloss lacquer (on turpentine base), mm15 matt lacquer (on turpentine base) or mm29 silk matt lacquer (on turpentine base) and then seal it with the paint because the iron powder can rust. Avoid a selective scatter. Large quantities can lead to the canvas hanging through.
